I just loved this photo that someone recently pinned on Pinterest.....and it got me to thinking about how pretty towels are when they are folded properly.

Love this post .... the ideas here for towel folding are awesome. Looks like you would fit more towels in your cupboard this way. Not everyone would think it was such an awesome thing, but I loved it. Thanks for sharing.

Brilliant! Another brilliant thing is the name of your blog. Tonight I was making dinner and lots of things were going wrong. Then I noticed that, in fact, I had actually turned on the stove under the pot I wanted to bring to a boil. I sighed in relief and said, "Well, that's one good thing." Immediately, I thought of your blog. You are brilliant (I think I said that before).

ReplyDeleteI personally RARELY will click on videos when they are posted online...just isn't my thing. But this one I just couldn't help myself. I love a really good, SHORT, how-to video. And I love nicely folded towels!

Pinterest has been an amazing boon to my blog...plus it brings smart and talented visitors like yourself here who add WAY more than what I can post on my own. That's something I never even thought of when I started this venture...but it now motivates and inspires me in finding more "good things" to share. :-) Thanks again!
I refolded all my towels last night (we did a load of towels, so it seemed like a good time to pull them all out). But now they don't fit into the teeny space we have for them! Crud. But even though I kind of jammed them in there, they still look super nice. Until I pulled one out this morning and they all came crashing down. HA! :)

Yes, it does matter and I've actually convinced my mefolk of the joys of neat folding. Especially when they pull out a fluffy smoothly folded towel rather than a wrinkly slightly grubby one. And they love how I fold their t-shirts so they all come out nice and smooth, like htey were ironed, but they weren't. Happiness is a tidy linen closet.
